Nehamrit Farms ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit nehamritfarms.com, make a booking, or contact us — and how we use, share and protect it. By using our website or services, you agree to this policy.

1. What we collect

We collect the following information, only when you provide it to us:

• Booking details: your full name, email address, phone / WhatsApp number, check-in and check-out dates, number of guests, room preferences, meal-plan choice and any notes you share (e.g. anniversary, dietary preferences).
• Payment information: processed directly by our payment gateway PayU India. We do not store your card, UPI or bank details on our servers.
• Contact-form messages: anything you submit through the contact form or reply to our emails.
• Automatic technical data: IP address, browser type, device type and pages viewed. This is used only in aggregate to improve the site and diagnose issues.

2. How we use it

• To confirm, manage and modify your booking.
• To send you the booking confirmation email, check-in instructions, house-rules PDF and update notifications.
• To respond to enquiries and WhatsApp messages.
• To comply with legal, tax and accounting obligations (Indian law requires we keep booking records).
• With your explicit consent, to send you occasional offers or seasonal updates. You can unsubscribe at any time by replying to any email.

3. Who we share it with

We share your information only with:

• PayU India — to process your payment. See their privacy policy.
• Our hosting provider (GoDaddy) — who store the website files and emails.
• Our on-site team — Ram Singh and Bhaskar receive an internal notification with your booking details so they can prepare for your arrival.
• Government authorities — only when legally required (e.g. tax records, police guest register as mandated for hotels in India).

We do not sell, rent or share your data with third-party marketers.

4. Cookies and tracking

Our website uses minimal cookies — a session cookie to remember your cart contents while you browse, and a CSRF cookie to protect form submissions. We do not currently use third-party analytics or advertising cookies. If we add analytics in future, we will update this policy and seek consent where required.

5. Data retention

Booking records are retained for at least 7 years to meet Indian tax and hospitality record-keeping requirements. Marketing preferences are honored immediately. General enquiries are kept for up to 2 years, then deleted.

6. Your rights

You may at any time:

• Ask what personal data we hold about you.
• Request corrections to any inaccurate details.
• Ask us to delete your data (subject to legal retention rules above).
• Withdraw consent for marketing communication.

7. Security

We use HTTPS across the site and store minimum necessary data on our secure hosting infrastructure. Payment information never touches our servers — it goes directly from your browser to PayU. We keep the software up to date and monitor for unauthorized access.

8. Children's data

Our booking service is intended for adults (18+). We do not knowingly collect data from children directly. When children are part of a booking, the adult guest provides only minimum required information (age band for meal-plan and bed calculations).

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy occasionally. Material changes will be notified on this page with a revised "Last updated" date at the top. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
